Mo Misses the Pack

Funny how this is the first full-effort wolf piece I've made since I've started Deviant-art, considering my username and all...

This piece took a lot of effort (up until I got to the trees to which I was just through for the day UAU*) and I hope that you guys like it. I may "finish-finish" it later but for now this is the result .

After being enclosed in a separate area, Mo slowly declined in his mental capabilities. Only thinking of his pack, he went days without eating, drinking, or really maintaining his needs. The humans always put food in his pen, water in his watering-hole, but he only paced and howled in hopes of communicating with his family. 
     This night, a beautiful star laced night, was the night that his pack would howl back, to reassure Mo of their existence. The tones of many different howls clashed into a chorus of beauty across the night sky... The humans watched... The humans listened... This night being that of happiness for Mo. This night, being his reminder that he isn't alone...
